Congrats to Doctor Stephanie

 it was with great pleasure for me to create this canvas for someone who had worked so hard to acheive the title DOCTOR ....i know she will cherish this and keep it always...i had a little bit of trouble trying to find the "DR" jacket..but perserverance won out..lol...the pills above the jacket was just the extra embellishment needed to complete the canvas..she can display this in her office or hang it up..again Congrats toyou Dr. Stephanie!!!!

this card was also with great joy to make for her...they did not have a pharmacy doctor...but i think all doctors work together towards our medical needs...even if it is for a panda bear..lol

Paper Bag Album

 This is the front of my "Paper Bag" Album....it does have a glare from the flash..but all the paper roses were hand made by me. I truly had a great time making the roses.

 Here is a few papges from the album...the cardstock used was from CTMH (close to my heart)
selection. The printed paper is from "Graphic 45"

 The butterfly is punched from Martha Stewart punch.

 I had two areas in the album whre I created a pocket fold out section...by doing this you can journal & post photos in this pocket....

This page displays silk butterfly, silk flower both purchased from a local craft store...I believe that recycled materials can become very useful...that is why I made this album it is loaded with lots of room to post pictures and do some journaling...afterall later on down the road when you can no longer remember dates and time throughout your life ..you can always refer to your photos and re-live your past by lookng at photos and reading what took place at that time by reading what you journaled...on the last page of this album I thought it was appropriate to use the sticker that said "LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE EVERYDAY" how true is that!!!

Hello Fellow Crafters!!!! Start doing what You Love

Hello Fellow Crafters...I want to tell you a little about me!

I have been crafting for many years and have found it to be very theraputic for me to use my hands to create beautiful things...whether I am sewing, crocheting, knitting, Tole painting, or card making or scrapbooking...I love them all. I have just recently quit the 9-5 lifestyle and decided I wanted to do what I truly love....paper crafting. With the support of my husband, I can truly say that I am blessed to have the opportunity to play anyday of the week..together we have raised 6 children, and now are spoiling 6 grandchildren...it is our right to do so! We are empty nest with 1 four-legged furry-baby named Socrates our cockerspaniel blonde dog.

This year 2013 I have decided to do something new...I have become a consultant with Close To My Heart craft company...I have only been on board for a little over 2 weeks and I joined to stay in the loop with other crafters and to save money on my supplies but now it has hit me that I want to share my talents one on one in a gathering and help others to save on supplies by being a Hostess...LOOK OUT THIS COULD REALLY TURN INTO SOMETHING..(LOL) for now I want to have fun with what I love doing. New Year for New Ideas & Changes

Hello craft friends...I have come full circle with creating, living life and looking forward to new ideas and changes in my life.
I was the owner of "Touch Of Tewshay" blog...however as things in my life caused me to step away and use my energy of creating towards other talents that I have...I found myself not doing much scrapbooking or card making since September (my last posting). with the holidays rapidly approaching, I felt it necessary to implement my talent in doing some sewing...therefore...I made my youngest son a photo-memory quilt with his new-born photo, a few more toddler photos of him (he's in his 30's) so yeah this was a well past due gift for him....he is the youngest of six kids that me & hubby have...lol....and he was the only one without his heirloom quilt made by mommy...then I took on the project of creating "NO-SEW" blankets for other family members along with seven "QUILLOWS" which are quilt/folded into a pillow to make them Quillows...so needless to say I was
in my element of producing ad creating christmas gifts for friends and family...while I was going through all of this...my email got hi-jacked and me not realizing it would affect my whole world of scrapping/cardmaking along with my regular email issues...I did not even think about how it could affect me after about 4 days of not being able to access my email...I took the road less traveled and called my phone company to change my email address and moved on with life.
So even though I now have a new blogg address...I will be putting together a new face on my blogg as time goes on but for now this is the start of my new blogg and WELCOME!!!
